If you’re using one of those incredible, although sometimes costly gadgets with a bitten fruit silhouette, you should be familiar with what I’m referring to. This 9th of September marks the official presentation of the highly anticipated iPhone 16, and I really hope that they show us some new and interesting features and not just a camera update. Just to let you know, Apple has been super secretive about its next devices. There haven’t been any leaks, just rumors.
As you probably know, Apple is introducing «Apple Intelligence,» the company’s new AI. This is expected to bring cool new features, making the Apple ecosystem even better. It looks like they’re really focusing on AI, which is awesome considering we’re in the AI era. In the last presentation, Apple mentioned some new features, like integrations with ChatGPT and Siri. This means we’ll be able to create images, Genmojis, custom memory movies, and other neat stuff. It’s all about making our workflow smarter and turning our apps into even more useful tools.

During the event, Apple will also unveil the final and official presentation of IOS 18. The new OS will have various cool features and changes that will also apply to other devices. Some of the new stuff includes the ability to customize your home screen apps and layouts. The control center is getting an update too, so you can explore more functions and access apps more easily. The Messages app is getting a facelift with a satellite feature, new text effects, and cool functionalities like scheduling messages and personalizing them. You’ll also be able to lock and hide apps, and there’s a new password manager app on the way for storing credentials across all platforms. The update will also bring Siri with Apple Intelligence and other exciting features. This presentation is set to take place at Apple Park on September 9th, just a week before the potential official launch of IOS 18, which will also have updates for Mac and iPad users.

Just a heads up, the new iPhone 16 typically becomes available for reservations on September 13th, and then it officially launches around a week later. If you’re thinking of getting the new phone, mark your calendars because this usually means big sales for Apple, and if it’s a hit, there will be long lines outside Apple stores.
Additionally, new devices such as the Apple Watch and the new AirPods are anticipated to be introduced. I have a feeling they’ll unveil these gadgets before they reveal the iPhone 16. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Apple Watch since it was first unveiled on September 9th, 2014. Not much is known about the new Apple Watch, but people are expecting a larger micro-LED display, a slimmer design, a faster processor, and a new health technology. As for the AirPods 4, they’re expected to receive a small makeover and a new chip for improved active noise cancellation.

Apple’s next event is happening in October and it’s all about surprises for Mac users. If you’re into productivity stuff, this event is gonna be awesome! Mac OS Sequoia looks promising and with all the AI fever, we can only expect the best. I’m really looking forward to seeing how they incorporate artificial intelligence into their ecosystem, and it’s a good idea to start learning how to use AI properly now so you can make the most of all the software coming out in the future.
I’m hoping they’ll make a great presentation, and maybe even unveil cooler features that nobody expects, and a special 10th-anniversary watch. I’ll be writing up a whole article after the event with all the details, so make sure you don’t miss it.
